With a fertile congregation ready to believe anything they are told, it's no wonder church leaders get away with overstating their credentials. I have known several who bought their framed doctorate diplomas online. But at this point, I am not hopeful the sheep are going to grow tigers teeth and deal with the problem anytime soon.
