What PC is doing is arguing from his bias. His perspective is from a modernized religious root, not so different than the Pharisees in their day. You cannot intellectually believe in God without some level of uncertainty. God dropped us (humanity) into a cosmic mystery for us to sort it all out. There will always be unanswered questions about God and the reasons for our existence that require faith, but that is part of our test.
