But to take this to a philosophical level, the only evidence we have for history is what people claim they saw. This is true for even what happened yesterday. The only evidence that yesterday existed is that there are people who claim they were there and saw it. I claim I was here yesterday, but I cannot produce it and show it to you. To use the atheists' logic, there is then no evidence that yesterday existed.
