We don't have the foggiest idea of why God created us. You are right, David. We make our existence all about us. But God doesn't need billions of us to worship him in heaven so He can get his narcissistic ego fed. At least I don't think so. He must have ulterior reasons for creating us that we know nothing about yet. I mean, what are we gonna do for eternity anyway? Heaven is cool and all, but that's a long time to play harps on puffy clouds without getting bored. :-)
