Stupid is what stupid does, and it harbors no favorites, religious or otherwise. 99.9% of humanity has no exceptional intelligence. As a result, the average person doesn’t invent anything life-changing, nor do they provide any useful services that make the world a better place. Travel to third-world countries, and this observation becomes even more glaring. A few percentage points up or down the IQ scale makes little difference to anyone’s life. And blind faith in unknowable events, such as our universal origins, held by so-called uneducated Christians or credentialed atheists, is equally foolish, especially if they become a hill to die on. That said, we can all benefit from intelligence if we don’t use it to divide our society into two camps — intelligent and stupid.
