No honest scientist, atheist or otherwise, can offer proof that explains where the “Big Bang” egg of energy came from. It’s unknowable and it takes just as much (or more) faith by the scientist to believe that the egg created itself out of nothing as the Christian who believes there is a great inventor in the sky. In a sense, both the theist and scientist are equally religious.
