I’m married to a Filipina, and we live a day's drive south of Manila. I’m treated like a zoo animal here. Many locals are just curious about the white guy, and the kids giggle and want to meet me all the time. It’s kind of fun. And as you know, many Filipinas consider white men trophy husbands. I’m exotically white to them, and you are exotically Asian to us. Generally, that’s just the “laws of attraction” and nothing to be offended by, excluding the creeps and psychopaths.
