I think the Bible is so much more interesting when it’s read through the lens of our human experience, and as a story. I’m not downplaying it’s salvation significance, but the backdrop of the story line is epic. I wish I could pick the Bible up off the shelf having no idea about it’s contents. How would it read? I think it would be fascinating.
