Finding answers to the big questions has led me to one step short of agnosticism. The last step is existence itself, which science can't answer. The idea that "absolute everything" sprang from "absolute nothing" is a scientific paradox. And it's not fair that we expect science to answer that question, although it's intriguing to attempt.

One thing is clear, though. What Christianity calls divine revelation is closer to a natural process of doctrinal evolution. Historically, and in all world cultures, mankind has been looking for answers to existence from different perspectives, building one idea on top of another. But just because we have an idea at a specific point in time doesn't mean we have solved the problem. Both science and religion are guilty of doing that.

Keep an open mind, Jakub.
