Absolutely on mark. And the bigger the church, the more it has to operate like a corporation to survive. There isn't another choice. Everyone's jobs depend on it, and the staff don't want to risk their homes and lifestyles.

Having worked at several megachurches, I have seen it up close and personal. I am guilty of enjoying the perks as well, but it was aslo very eye opening and disturbing in some cases.
